About the Author
Mary Stephens is a qualified teacher (PGCE), and holds the RSA Dip TEFL and an M.Ed. in English Language Teaching. She has a variety of teaching experience: she taught in Spain for two years, before taking up a post at Eurocentre Language School in Bournemouth, where she stayed for 28 years. Her most recent post was at a College of Further Education just outside London. Mary has written and co-written numerous ELT titles at all levels, from Beginners to Proficiency, including the highly successful PractiseWriting, and for Longman Exam Skills series: Proficiency Reading and Proficiency Writing. She has co-written two coursebooks for First Certificate: Fast Track to First Certificate, and Get on Track for FirstCertificate. Now a full time writer, Mary divides her time between Bournemouth and London.
